Learn moreStudents at Namal embody the values of integrity and social responsibility. They pay back their scholarships – not as loans, but as hours of contributions. Students deposit 320 hours annually for community service and on-campus jobs in the time bank and learn to become pillars of society.
The impact of Namal Knowledge City is not confined to the campus. It has also transformed the community around it. The society has internalized the importance of education and a primary school near the university has become a model educational institution. It is attracting students from as far as 100 km to get quality education – often from spouses of the university faculty themselves. Namal School has 300 students enrolled and offers education from Kindergarten till class 8th. The school has become a hub of learning in the vicinity and children from nearby villages come to study here. Thus, the ripples of change initiated by Namal University can be felt far and wide among all strata of society.
